Cookie Policy

Minimal first-party cookies only. No advertising, no third-party tracking, no cross-site profiling.

Effective: June 8, 2026

TL;DR

This site uses exactly one first-party cookie (to remember if you've dismissed the cookie banner) and one piece of localStorage for the same purpose. That's it. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, no Facebook Pixel, no Google Analytics, no cross-site profiling. Our analytics is cookieless (Vercel Web Analytics).

What we use

What we don't use

  • ❌ No Google Analytics
  • ❌ No Facebook Pixel / Meta tracking
  • ❌ No advertising cookies (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, etc.)
  • ❌ No cross-site profiling
  • ❌ No third-party retargeting
  • ❌ No session-replay tools (Hotjar, FullStory, LogRocket, etc.)
  • ❌ No affiliate redirect tracking
  • ❌ No A/B testing cookies (visual A/B is done at the URL/route level with no per-user tracking)

When cookies are set by third parties

The booking page (if you click "Book a call") loads a Google Calendar appointment scheduler iframe. Google may set its own cookies. See Google's cookie policy.

PayPal and Stripe may set cookies when you reach their checkout pages. See PayPal privacy and Stripe privacy.

How to opt out

You can opt out of all cookies on this site by:

  • Clearing the milo_cookie_seen localStorage entry (the cookie banner will reappear, but it will be the only thing affected)
  • Using your browser's privacy / incognito mode
  • Using a browser extension like uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, or EFF's HTTPS Everywhere
  • Configuring your browser to block all third-party cookies (we don't use any, but it doesn't hurt)

Opting out of the __cf_bm cookie is not possible — it's set by Cloudflare to protect Vercel from bots. If you block it at the browser level, the site still works for human users; some automated traffic may be blocked at the edge.

GDPR & CCPA

For EU/UK visitors (GDPR): the cookies we use are strictly necessary for site operation (cookie banner state) or anonymized (Vercel Web Analytics daily hash). We do not require consent for strictly necessary cookies. Where we use cookies that aren't strictly necessary, we obtain consent (e.g., the cookie banner shown on first visit).

For California visitors (CCPA): we do not sell or share personal information, and our cookies are not used for cross-site behavioral advertising. The "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link is therefore not required, but you can opt out of all cookies per Section "How to opt out" above.
